'book, costume (or an erotic encounter with a double-sided photocopy)' (2023), 70-pages of waxed A4 double-sided photocopies, with metal clasp. 

This book/sculpture is made to be handled. It contains 70 individually waxed double-sided photocopies.  The photocopies are of drawings of a body folding into paper.

A number of these photocopies were waxed and presented on strip lights as 
'material intimacy or an erotic encounter with a double sided photocopy' (2022)  in the show She Speaks Up curated by Sharon Young at 228 Chingford Mount, London supported by HYPHA studios in 2022.

I later made a paper-based costume out of these photocopies for the performance ‘book as right hand’ (2022-2023) presented in Knights Park Library at Kingston University, supported by funding from the Contemporary Art Research Centre.
