'material intimacy or an erotic encounter with a double sided photocopy' (2022) was first presented at 'She Speaks Up', a group show curated by Sharon Young at 228 Chingford Mount, London from 1/11/22 – 19/11/22.

The work is made from components of 'book as right hand'. In this practice, I use a large number of double sided photocopied of a drawing to move with; placing them inside costumes I wear, and compiling them into a large blanket-like mass that I move with.

Both works stem from the question: what does intimacy with research look like? Could an engagement with theory be a practice of becoming-with (Haraway, 2008) a voice, a printed page, a book?
